Evensong

Evensong is the name of my family's 4 and a half acre lot of land that is about 2 miles from the Nantahala River in the Smoky Mountains of western North Carolina. This place is a new addition to our family, and we are all so excited about finally having a home in the mountains because the Smoky Mountains have always felt like a second home to us. We just started building on our house in May, and we are SO looking forward to the day that it is finished!! These are just some pictures of the progress that's been made so far. The first one is of the foundation being put in. The second and third are the most recent pictures, and the third is the view from the window of what will be the master bedroom. From what I hear, it now has the roof gables on it. So anyway, I just wanted to keep y'all updated on our exciting news, and when it gets all done, everybody's invited! :)
