Baby Bo

Anna Leigh got to meet him Friday night! He loved her so much that he found a nice soft place to go to sleep! :) This is when we came up with his middle name (Miller) in honor of the Miller Lite that we were enjoying.

Do you think he's grown any? I think so... and I've only had him a week! He's eating me out of house and home! I never would've thought such a little being could eat so much and so often!!

Guess what I finally finished last night?

That's right! My kitchen is finished! Yay!! Did it take me long enough??

I'm hooked...

This is my new addiction. Have you tried it?

Oh, Bo!

I think I've finally decided on my new baby's name... Bo. Or Miller. Anna Leigh and I thought of Miller Friday night. I do like Miller, but I think maybe Bo is sticking. So Bo it is. Or Miller. Or Bo Miller Taylor....

P.S.

MK finally posted some pics from the trip to Eureka Springs, so check them out!

Bailey
Bud
Harley
Otis
Biscuit
Tater

I'm open to any votes or new suggestions!

I've fallen in love...

Meet my new baby boy... I brought him home tonight! He is soooo sweet. The dogs love him, but Gracie is acting ugly about it all. But I expected that, and she'll get over it eventually. He doesn't have a name just yet, but I'll keep you updated! :)

Happy Easter!

I hope everybody has had a great Easter weekend! I came down to Pascagoula for the weekend. We all got up and went to church today, and this cross here is one that the church put out at the street and everybody brought flowers to put up on the cross. Then, after church, we came back home and ate a yummy dinner! These deviled eggs were my contribution... It was my first time to make them, and even though it turned out that we didn't have sweet pickles like we thought (we did have bread and butter pickles, though, instead), they ended up being pretty tasty! I love me some deviled eggs! Mmm.. good! :)

I leave you with pictures of the concrete slab that is all that remains of the old house....

Welcome to the Amazon (?)

Or rather.. welcome to my back yard. Are these weeds scary or what?? I'm a little frightened by them. They were like all of a sudden that tall (note that the fence is 6 feet tall). What are they? I think that they are not from this planet. I'm just waiting on them to grow a mouth and eat me. And I'm not sure how to chop them down. I actually went and bought a weed-eater the other day, but I think when it comes to the battle of the mutant weeds vs. the weed-eater, the monstrous mutant weeds will win! Maybe I should figure out how to cut them down some other way before I actually mow/weed-eat.

This suncatcher here in this picture is Aubrey's favorite thing when the sun is hitting it right. She will chase and bark at the reflections that bounce around (all with a big long string of slobber hanging from her lips) until the sun sets! It is too funny.

This is what both of the dogs (Mattie and Aubrey) love to do in their spare time outside. Isn't that wonderful? I needed a few extra holes in the yard, so I appreciate their efforts to help me out.

Ah.. to work like a normal person!

I have news! I found out on Friday that I am going to start working every 4th weekend instead of every other! Hallelujah!!! Granted, it will still be overtime, but it will be half as often. I don't know what I'll do with all of these weekends available now! I'm sure I will find somebody... oops, I mean something... to keep me occupied. ;)

Great-Grandmother's Lilies

My first lilies bloomed today! These bulbs originally came from my Great-Grandmother's house, and we've transplanted them just about everywhere we have lived. When my parents moved away from Madison, I took some bulbs, and here they are! I love it when they bloom. :)

This is for you, Jody

Somebody keeps reminding me that I've been neglecting my blog all week. So... I'm sorry, Blogger, for neglecting you... Will you forgive me? Oh yeah, and I'm sorry that I haven't been giving any good reading material for you guys out there who are looking for something to do at work! I just haven't had much interesting to talk about lately. Or as I said earlier tonight, I haven't been thinking very much this week.. Ha. All I do is work and then either come home and do homework or go to class! Fun life, huh. Soon, though, things should start to pick up some... I hope. Maybe in about a month. ;) Plus, later in May, this school quarter will be over, so maybe I will start spending less time doing homework. So far in school, I've had to do the most work this quarter for this one class. It's really a shame that getting a graduate degree is so flippin' easy! Sweet.
