Update

Bridget, Bracey (her husband), and Tristan are all doing well. She is in a regular room now, and I went to visit them at the hospital yesterday. Bridget looked good, and Tristan is gorgeous! I got to hold him, and I wanted to just take him home with me. He is so sweet. I want one!

Attention iPod-ers!

Help! I just got this new laptop, and I would like to transfer my music library from my desktop to my laptop. I thought that I could be able to just transfer all the songs on my iPod to my music libary in iTunes, but I haven't been able to figure out how or if it will even let me. If anybody knows anything about this, please help!

Happy Birthday, Tristan!

Welcome to the world! My best friend, Bridget, had her baby yesterday... Tristan is his name (still waiting on a middle name). He was 21 1/4 inches long and weighed 7 lbs., 12 oz. Tristan is fine, but she had complications and almost died giving birth. She had to have a C-section, and lost about 2/3 of her blood due to complications afterwards and has been in the ICU since then. Thankfully, she is going to be okay, and hopefully tomorrow she'll be moved to a room so I can go see her. I don't know what I would've done if she wasn't going to be okay. So everybody keep her and her husband and Tristan in your thoughts and prayers!

Spoiled

This is Angie... She drove me to my egg retrieval today, and when she brought me back home, she stayed for a minute and spoiled my babies. :) Aubrey thinks she is a lap baby already, without the help of the attention from a new friend. Then Gracie decided she needed to get up in the action and get some kisses.
Mattie got in on the attention, too, I just didn't get a picture of it because she was being too excited.

All done!

I had my egg retrieval today, and everything went really well. They ended up with 15 eggs when it was all over with. Yay!

Second and Last Time

This is what my ovaries are looking like right now... I'm doing the egg donor thing again, and tomorrow is my egg retrieval. I've been taking 3 shots a day every day for the last 9 days, but I took my last shot last night at 11:15, and tomorrow it will be all over with! Yay! I've enjoyed doing it again, but I'm ready for it to be all over. Best of luck to my recipient!

Fireworks

Friday night, AL introduced me to A., and let me tell you.... Is it the 4th of July? It must be because I am seeing quite a firework show!

What a boring night! But, nothing new about that...

Satisfaction Guaranteed

I'm going to hang out with my friend, B., tomorrow night.... We haven't seen each other in several months, and I'm really looking forward to it!

I just realized how completely boring my blog has gotten (or maybe it's been boring from the start, I don't know), and I apologize to everyone who actually takes (wastes?) a moment of their time to be let down by my highly disappointing blog. I guess it's because my life is so boring lately that even I am tired of it. I need some excitement... a love life, a social life, anything other than work and school. Why has my life lately gotten so pathetically boring??

I'm still alive!

Yesterday, I was to the point where all I really wanted was to be admitted to the hospital so that I could get an IV. I thought maybe if I had a drip, I could get hydrated without seeing it again in reverse. But after battling a fierce stomach virus and feeling like I was about to die yesterday, I am still alive today (and feeling much better)!

The Bachelor... In Paris!

I know it's silly, but I really do love to watch it. And "The Bachelor" is always better than "The Bachelorette" because the girls are so catty and bitchy and some are just plain psycho. I don't know if anybody watched the season premiere tonight, but this Bachelor is super dreamy. He's SO hot... and a doctor, too! But the greatest part of the episode tonight was one girl's reaction when she did not get a rose. I'm no dating expert (well, maybe I am getting to that point), but when you very first meet a guy, you don't start off the conversation with about how you're eggs are getting old and you're ready to start the reproductive phase of your life. Talk about sending him running!

P.S. - I finally took my Christmas tree down tonight!

Hibernation

I'm sorry I've been slacking off this past week at blogging. I've had a crappy head cold all week and haven't felt like doing much of anything. And all weekend, I've been pretty much hibernating here inside my house, even though it's been a beautiful weekend. I haven't left the house, and I've hardly even stepped outside since Friday. That's pretty sad, huh. I really wanted to accomplish some things around the house this weekend, but I have just not felt up to snuff. Maybe soon this crud will go away. I haven't even taken down my Christmas tree yet! (Shh... don't tell anybody!)

Linds, Sarah, and AL... I know y'all remember our notebook, Erma. I remember 10 years ago (wow... has it really been that long??) I had the notebook over New Year's while I was on a trip with my parents to Lake Junaluska, NC, and I think I listed 10 resolutions. Of course, 5 of them were to get Brad as my boyfriend. Haha... My, how things have changed in 10 years! Well, Erma is no longer with us (what ever happened to Erma, anyway?), but I'd like to share my resolutions.
